Yesterday, I logged in to java.net to find that I have been granted owner and developer status on groovychart. The team at sun worked quickly to get the issues with ownership resolved. Thanks again to the team, and lets get this show on the road.
My plan is to proceed as follows:
- DONE:
Ensure that the current code base compiles and works in a stable way DONE:That it indeed covers a large percentage of the free chart API.- IN PROGRESS: Has appropriate support for plots and datasets.
- Plenty of examples written in groovy and documentation.
- DONE:
If it is dormant, take ownership of the project on java.net - Make a proper binary 1.0 release - versioned and tested.
I will update you again once I have CVS updated and a source / binary snapshot on the site.
